Like Sultan's combination, Abrahm's combination enhances
lithologic differences within the major rock bodies. Again the ophiolite
is seen prdominately as a pink tone with minor variations. The strong
red influence seen in the ophiolite is due to the 5/7 band ratio that was
assigned to red for both the Sultan's and Abrahm's combinations.
The 5/7 band ratio emphasizes the strong absorption of electro-magnetic
radiation in the 2.08-2.35 micrometer range (band 7). This is typical
of hydrothermally altered rocks.
